FAST FASHION THE GOBAL IMPACT

Image
GOBAL PROBLEM= FAST FASHION. Fashion is second most polluting industry in the world. Fast fashion is a major contributor to the world's clothing waste problem. Many of us give our old clothes to charity or drop them in a store take-back bin, but you might be surprised to learn most of it is sold and can end up in the landfill. The industry accounts for 20% of global waste water.  85% of textiles are disposed of instead of being recycled.  To produce fabric, a lot of water is used for washing, dyeing, bleaching and cleaning the finished product.  The waste water is contaminated with toxic chemicals and dye colors and this goes back into the sea affecting marine life Synthetic fabrics  life.  .  Synthetic  fabrics are non – biodegradable. When we wash them in our washing machines, tiny pieces of microplastic fibers  get washed into the ocean and our fish end up eating these plastic pieces.  Washing clothes, meanwhile, releases 500,000 ton...

FAST FASHION EFFECT ON SOCIETY & CULTURE

Image
Consumption of fast fashion play a effective role in humans life. Fast fashion play a effective role in society .  Fast fashion is a term used to describe the readily available, inexpensively made fashion of today.  Mass-production of cheap, disposable clothing. Countless new collections per year make us feel constantly out of date and encourage us to keep buying more. Rapid consumption of apparel and the need to deliver on short fashion cycles stresses production resources, often resulting in supply chains that put profits ahead of human welfare. Western culture had also effected the society. In western country everyday fashion brings new trend . Social media influencer culture has slowly become one of the most pervasive forms of advertisement. There are multiple perspectives that one can take when analyzing the complexities of influencer culture. While they are all valid, one perspective that seems to go unnoticed is how influencer culture promotes unsustainability and uneth...

CONSEQUENCE OF FAST FASHION IN FAMILY & INDIVIDUAL LIFE

Image
Indians family waste too much of money in the name of weddings &  religion. It's the biggest celebration where whole family do shopping. Each and every ritual different clothing is required. Buying those clothes and wearing them once is financial and wasteful dilemma. A family buy approx. 30 kg clothing each year. Only 15% is recycled or donated and rest goes directly to landfill. Previously we use to wear clothes for decade until the cloth has life . But nowadays we dnt do that. Each member buy new clothes for function.  I belong to a joint Marwari  family where every year there is wedding sometimes one or one then one . Every time my entire family goes to shopping . Rather then  wedding  festivals are meant for clothing. And yeah there is no reuse of clothing .Marwari family you know what each festival or functions means new clothing  . Our lifestyle and consumption depends on society. Fashion goes very fast fifty years ago wo...

Image
Maslow's Hierarchy of needs is a motivational theory in psychology.  Through the video u will know  needs lower down in the hierarchy must be satisfied before individuals can attend to needs higher up. From the bottom of the hierarchy upwards, the needs are: physiological, safety, love and belonging, esteem, and self-actualization. The five stage model is divided into deficiency needs and growth needs. The first four level are referred to deficiency needs, and the top level is known as growth or being needs. Our needs are never satisfied in our life because people around you matter than need.   BEGINNING OF  FAST FASHION      In   20th century handmade tailored garments were available.
